Preparation of Coating Chemical
Water-based dispersion or emulsion is prepared according to the final packaging’s functional requirements (e.g., moisture, grease, or oxygen barrier). The mixture is thoroughly mixed and filtered to ensure a smooth, consistent flow through the coating system thus preventing blocking, pinholes, tackiness and curling in the final product.
Application Stage
A flawlessly uniform coating is delivered across all exposed surfaces. Integrated in-line printing enables seamless, simultaneous printing and coating, while the advanced two-stage system applies dual layers without changeover, ensuring uninterrupted operation and reduced downtime. The setup accommodates a full suite of precision coating technologies, including air-knife, Meyer bar, gravure, reverse gravure, bar coater, doctor blade, and GSM cutter, offering exceptional versatility and performance.
Drying Stage
Warm, dehumidified air is directed over or through the coated substrate. Water evaporates, leaving behind a continuous and uniform coating layer.
Airflow, temperature, and humidity are carefully controlled to prevent common coating defects such as peeling, blistering, or mottling.
Sheeter, Slitters & Die‑Cut
The Automatic Sheeter delivers precision cutting up to 1700 mm and features an integrated online slitter for accurate customization of sheet widths. In addition, two dedicated slitters—single-shaft and double-shaft—provide expanded flexibility for reel-to-reel converting with exceptional accuracy. Fully automatic and PLC-controlled, the system ensures seamless, high-efficiency operation at speeds up to 400 MPM. Pre-cut blanks are produced to support downstream forming and packaging validation in both pilot and production settings. A 950 mm high-speed, multi-colour printing unit enables advanced benchmarking of printability and throughput on coated substrates. A thermic fluid heater, combined with in-line chiller rolls, stabilizes drying and optimizes coat lay-down, consistently delivering a premium, high-quality surface finish.
